(Luke 1:37)
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
However anybody, who wants to experience this supernatural healing has to meet one single condition in order to receive the healing. This condition is 'BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST'. Why should you believe in Jesus Christ for receiving supernatural healing from God?
Once again, the answer gets involved with the two methods by which humans get sick. Let's consider how diseases which are caused by the two methods explained earlier, become healed in believing in Jesus Christ.
A DISEASE CAUSED BY THE DEVIL BASED ON A SIN OR SINS COMMITTED BY A PERSON
A sickness caused by sins of a person cannot be healed by the Power of God until such sins be forgiven. No one under the sun has the power to forgive sins of another person for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.
(Rom 3:23)
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
But the Scripture says Jesus Christ has all the power to forgive sins on earth.(Matthew 9:6)
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins,...
How come Jesus Christ as the Son of Man received this power from God to forgive sins of humans?
Jesus Christ did not commit any sins. Truly He knew not sin, but He was clothed in flesh and blood like other humans. Therefore He was qualified to be a living human sacrifice for sins of the mankind. As a result, God made Jesus Christ become sin for our sake in order that we become free from our sins and receive the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ.
(2Corinthians 5:21)
For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
In other words, Jesus Christ became a sacrifice by bearing our sins in His body on a cross for the remission of our sins.
(1Peter 2:24)
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness...
Jesus Christ, who knew not sin became sin for our sake, and gave us the righteousness of God through Him. So, this is an exchange between God and Sinful Man through Jesus Christ. The sin of Man was exchanged with Jesus Christ for the righteousness of God. It is this exchange that enables Man to reach God through Jesus Christ.
(John 14:6)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
As such there is only One Mediator between God and Man and He is Jesus Christ. (1Timothy 2:5)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Nevertheless, for this exchange to become a reality in a person's life, they have to accept the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins. When they believe this truth, they receive the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ, in place of their sins. What a salvation from sins! This is the salvation given to the sinful man in order to receive by grace in faith.
(Ephesians 2:8)
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
When someone believes in Jesus Christ in the above manner, their sins are forgiven. The devil loses his power to hold a person in sickness based on any sin which is already forgiven. It is at this point that the Power of Healing can flow through the sick body and heal the sickness. In other words, if the sickness is caused by sins of a person, before we minister to him for healing, he must receive the forgiveness of his sins by accepting Jesus Christ's sacrifice for his sins.
Now you can realize why we cannot heal such a person first and then making the supernatural healing a reason for him to accept Jesus Christ. If they do not believe in Jesus Christ that He died for their sins, no forginess of sins. As long as sins are not forgiven, you have no authority to break the power of the devil and set the person free.
Look at the below scriptures:(Matthew 9:1-2)
And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
Jesus knew that this man had got sick of the palsy because of his sins. Before healing him, Jesus forgave his sins based on the faith of the crowd who had brought him to Jesus Christ. At this moment, there was no need for the crowd to accept Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for the sins of the sick person as Jesus had not made Himself a sacrifice by then. Hence their mere faith that Jesus had the power to heal the sick was enough for Jesus to forgive the sins of the sick person and heal him.
In fact, Jesus healed the sick by forgiving sins by exercising the power based on the sufferings and the death He had to face on the cross shortly. Look at the scripture below:(Mat 8:16-17)
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
However, people were not requested to believe these facts as Jesus had not gone through them in reality. But today, we cannot heal the sick directly using faith, if their sicknesses are caused by their sins. Why? because we have no authority to forgive sins of a person by using the Name of Jesus Christ although we have authority to heal the sick in the Name of Jesus Christ. This authority of healing given to us fails all the time when we exercise same before a sick person with mere faith that he could be healed, whereas whose sickness is caused by sins and such sins still remain unforgiven.
Today, 99.9% sicknesses are caused by the devil based on human sins. As many Christian ministers fail to call such sick people to true repentance of their sins and teach them to receive forgiveness from God through Jesus Christ, their sins remain in unforgiven state when they are ministered for healing. As a result, these Christians ministers happen to witness that the Power of God fails to flow through the sick as mentioned in the Bible. Instead of correcting their approach, they make up stories and even doctrines to deny the fact that God heals people through Jesus Christ TODAY, like He did in the first century.
