The devil has no power over us as long as we do not cooperate with him. How do we cooperate with the devil?
Yes, we cooperate with him by hearkening to his voice and keeping things that belong to him. When we have things that belong to the devil, we are empowering the devil to enter our body and afflict us. Hence being Christians, all of us should come to a place where we can tell the devil that we have nothing that belongs to him.
What are the things that belong to the devil???
Here are some of the things that belong to the devil:
- All Unrighteousness
- Fornication
- Wickedness
- Covetousness
- Maliciousness
- Full of Envy
- Debate
- Deceit
- Malignity
- Whispering
- Backbiters
- Hating God
- Being Despiteful
- Pride
- Boasting
- Invention of Evil Things
- Disobedience to Parents (Parents who live according to the Word of God)
- Lack of Understanding of the Word of God (Without Understanding)
- Breaking of Covenants (with God)
- Lack of Natural Affection
- Implacability
- Unmerciful
(Romans 1:29-32)
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
If we do away with all of things that belong to the devil, we receive a pure conscience to tell the devil that we do not have anything that belongs to the devil. You know, this kind of declaration in the presence of God would paralyze the devil in your life. But, the problem is many are not in the right place to make this statement as they have become a snare of the devil in some part of their life.
As explained above, when you don't have anything that belongs to the devil, the devil loses his power to enter into your life and afflict you. But still the devil can use other people who are in cooperation with the devil by keeping things that belong to him, to afflict us. For example, the devil can enter your unsaved neighbor or your best friend and cause them to stand against you as an enemy. How does the devil do this?
The devil can control human minds very easily after he enters human bodies. Unfortunately, you have no control over the devil entering into other people around you based on their own sins. Hence, don't be surprised to see your best friend rising against you as an enemy when you get closer to God. Recognize it as the work of the devil. Mostly, the devil can attack you through your own family members who are not in the same faith like you.
(Matthew 10:36)
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
But your understanding of how the devil attacks you through other people would save you from unnecessary troubles and enable you to tackle such situations prudently. We can depend on The Gift of Discernment , which is a spiritual gift of The Holy Spirit, to identify evil spirits hiding in other people around us.
Above all, you need not be scared of the devil at all as he cannot attack you directly because he does not have a physical body. Satan or the devil is a man without a physical body. That is why he always has either to enter you based on your own sins or to come through other people whom you know in order to attack you.
HOW TO HAVE A BETTER CONTROL ON DEMONIC ATTACKS ON YOUR LIFE?
The Word of God tells us to resist the devil if you want the devil to flee from you. Resisting means fighting back. However, if you want to have a better control over evil spirits, don't wait to resist them until they come to you and start to attack you. Before the devil thinks of attacking you, you go behind the devil and attack him. Why? because we can attack the devil directly (although the devil cannot attack us directly). How do you do this?
Start to deliver people by casting out devils from them. You need not be a big pastor to do this. Look at the below scriptures:
(Mark 16:17)
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
The qualifications you should have to cast out demons:
1. Believing in Christ (with the knowledge of the Word of God)
2. Having the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues
If you have the above two qualifications, you can start to deliver people from evil spirits by casting them out. This is the greatest ministry in Christianity although almost every denomincation has done away with it. This ministry is known as the Deliverance Ministry. But you rarely see ministers in this ministry as they want to protect themselves from evil spirits. However, they do no know that they have already become snares of devils as devils have been empowered by their own FEAR for entering their lives and destroying them. But the truth is, only those people who are in the Deliverance Ministry are safe from demonic attacks just because demons are trembling in their presence.
One day, I happened to minster to a paralyzed person. This person has become dumb with the paralysis. However, he is making a strange voice all the time rubbing his own head with the single hand which he could move. Before I prayed for this man, I felt like there was a spirit in him. So, I started to pray in tongues while raising my right hand against his face. Soon after I did this, he started to scream and then fell on the ground from his chair with foaming phlegm.
This was the first time I realized the authority the Lord has given me against evil spirits. Ever since, my favourite hobby is to deal with evil spirits in human bodies and casting them out by delivering innocent people. Since the day I started it, the Lord has revealed me many hidden things that I should know in order to deal with evil spirits. Truly, I love to deal with devils in human bodies. I love to see how they are tormented when I raise my hand towards them. You know why? because these devils were destroying my own life for nearly 37 years. Then they started to afflict my children before my own eyes even after I submitted myself to the Lord. However, I never went mad with God. Instead I became mad with the devil. I was cursing the devil all the time as the Word of God has never asked us not to do that. I was in real anger with the devil. I was always telling the devil that I would be a real threat to him one day.
One day, the Lord spoke to me through Isaiah 45 and said that He would give me treasures of darkness. Since the day I received this word, I was asking the Lord, what these treasures of darkness are. But now I realize what the Lord was speaking to me.
If you cast out a single devil out of a human body, you would never care devils.They start to scream before you. Then only you begin to realize the authority you have in you over devils. Devils are just like dogs before your anointing. But people never experience this power as they are so scared to deal with demon-possessed people. Many people think that if they deal with demons in human bodies, these demons would enter them too. So, they simply avoid them. But they don't know when they engage in this kind of thought, they have already given power to demons through their fear, to enter their bodies. Truly demons do enter their bodies, but not manifest as they do in other people.
You know, those in the deliverance ministry have no struggle in winning souls to the Lord. People simply get saved. They do not have to distribute tracks and booklets from door to door. They do not have to spend a lot of money for publicity of the Gospel. They never go behind souls, but souls come behind them. This is exactly the ministry Jesus did. And this is exactly the ministry Jesus wants us to do.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Are you simply a believer in Christ? Then, you can cast out devils and heal the sick. If you say, "Yes, Lord!", The Lord is ready to flow through you. AMEN!
