Ezekiel 28:1-10
(1) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,(2) Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
(3) Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
(4) With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
(5) By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
(6) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
(7) Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
(8) They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
(9) Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
(10) Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
Almost every Christian believes that the above passage of the Scritpure too talks about Satan. Hence, we identify the same king of Tyrus by another name as the prince of Tyrus in the above scriptural passage.
Now, look at the 2nd verse:(2) Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
The above verse does not give any indication where Lucifer was found (in Heaven or on earth), when his heart was lifted up. But if you look at what he was thinking, you understand that he was planning to be a God not in the Spiritual Realm, but in the Physical Realm. Why? because the seat wherein Lucifer was thinking to sit was located in the midst of the seas. The midst of the seas is a location on earth in the Physical Realm and not in Heaven in the Spiritual Realm.
But the below scriptures will clearly show where Lucifer was staying when he was thinking to be a God.(Isa 14:12-14)
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
If Lucifer was thinking to be a God, while being in Heaven (Dwelling Place of God), he would never use the word "ascend" because there is no place to ascend above Heaven. Truly, Lucifer was planning to have his throne above the stars. Stars are physical objects located within the Physical Realm and not in Heaven. Stars are placed in the highest position in the Physical Realm. Thus he was planning to have his throne just above the stars in the heaven within the Physical Realm (not Heaven where God dwells). Hence when Lucifer said, "I will ascend into heaven", he meant the heaven in the Physical Realm.
Again, he was referring to clouds as something above him at the time he was thinking this evil. In other words, he was even below clouds when he was thinking of this evil against God. That is why he said, 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds'.
Then where could have Lucifer been when he was thinking this evil against God?
Obviously, HE WAS ON THE EARTH. What do you think???Let me explain this happening this way... Lucifer, as the king of Tyrus entered the Garden of Eden and thought of becoming a God for the Physical Realm and function in the Physical Realm like the Most High functions in Heaven. Lucifer never wanted to take the Throne of God in Heaven as he knew that it was something impossible. But being the best angel of God, he was tempted to become like God for man in the world. Thus, as Lucifer was engaged in these evil thoughts, he was found with inequities only in the Garden of Eden. Hence, Lucifer was condemned to be Satan only in the Garden of Eden. Further, God proclaimed Lucifer to be a man (Let's talk about the meaning of "making Lucifer a man", later in this series).
This is the judgement God was planning to bring upon Lucifer right on the day he was found with inequities. But this judgement had not come to pass even when Ezekiel was proclaiming this prophecy.
Truly, God's judgement was hidden from all the angles including Lucifer until the time God was revealing it to His prophets in the Old Testament. As a result, Lucifer was not changed functionally to be Satan or the devil even after he sinned against God. In other words, Lucifer enjoyed all angelic powers right through the period of the Old Testament although he was condemned to be Satan or the devil. I know this is a challenging statement, but I would give you more facts later in this series to support this belief.
Now let's look at the 4th and the 5th verses together:
(4) With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
(5) By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
The above two verses prove the fact that truly Lucifer has functioned as the God of the earth since the day his heart was lifted up in the Garden of Eden. In other words, after he was thinking to be a God, truly he became a God for the world. God never resisted Lucifer from taking this action. But Lucifer never thought that God would destroy him as it was man who had given his authority which God gave man unconditionally, to Lucifer to become their God. Lucifer knew that as long as man would listen to him, he could continue as the God of man by taking the unconditional authority God has given to man to have dominion over everything and subdue the world.(Genesis 1:28)
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
In fact, God would never take this authority from man as God would not act in contrary to His own Word. As man gave his authority for Lucifer to become a God, it had to be a man who could cease Lucifer from being a God. That is why God had to cloth His begotten son in the flesh and blood to become a man and break the plans of Lucifer. In this plan, Jesus became a man in order to break the plans of Lucifer to continue as a God for man. Through his human sacrifice, the mankind became justified from sin of listening to Lucifer. At the same time, Lucifer lost all his angelic powers and became a man.
Who made Lucifer a MAN???
What do you mean when you say, "Satan is a MAN"???
