Leviticus 26:9
9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
When
we read Leviticus 26:1-9, we understand how God was pleased to bless
the children of Israel by the above blessings when they were found
within the commandments of God.
Even today, these conditions are in force in receiving God's blessings.
If
we want to be blessed by God, we should be found withing His
commandments. God wants every one of us to fulfill this condition as God
wants to establish a covenant with every one of us before blessing us.
God's covenant with every individual contains blessings and conditions. In the sense, blessings in covenants are conditional.
God looks at our present state, and would establish such a covenant when He is pleased with our walk with His commandments.
However, before God enters into a covenant with us, there is a waiting period for every individual (sometimes even without any blessings) as God wants to test our true nature and faith.
But
we should not forget that even after God enters into a covenant with
us, the moment we fail to meet the conditions in the covenant, the
covenant would be broken.
Let's
find ourselves within God's commandments so that God would establish
His covenant with every one of us through which we shall be blessed.
