Capability Vs. Availability

(Exodus 31:1-6)
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

We read in the above scriptures how God raised the persons to make the Tabernacle after God gave Moses all the instructions of the pattern of the Tabernacle and everything in it. When God asked Moses to call these people to get the work done, God had already put the wisdom, which was necessary to perform the task, in these people.

In the world, we know that before someone is selected for an employment, he or she is tested in various ways. There would be at least one interview for that person to face where they would be requested to prove that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties that would be assigned to them if selected. In other words, you must qualify yourself in order to be called for the right job.

But God's method is different. God usually does not call the qualified to get His work done. Instead, God calls the unqualified and qualify them to do His work.

Well, there is none other than God who knows our capabilities. God knows what we can do and what we cannot do. Before God calls us for a job, He first puts the necessary wisdom in us in order that we do it for Him.

What matters is not our capability, but our availability. God looks for our availability for His work to be done by us. If we can make ourselves available for God, God would make us capable of doing His work.

If you want to be capable, be available for God.

Availability brings Capability...Hallelujah!
