The Dead - Part 4
Well, we all know from Adam, every human has died. What is this death in Romans 5:14, which reigned only up to Moses?
In fact, this death
does not refer to the dying of the physical body. But this death is the
state of sleep of a soul in a gave (shachath) in hell (sheol).
After the law was
given to Moses, this death could not reign over the saints, who did not sin and
keep them in state of sleep anymore. Yes, after the law was given to Moses,
many saints arose from their sleep and became live souls. These saints became alive in order to be consoled
and comforted.
Not only saints, even
those souls, who were wicked on earth (according to the measurement of
God) were awaken from their sleep. The wicked were awaken in order to be tormented by the devil and his
angles in hell.
Thus, after the law
was given to Moses, we find three types of souls in hell.
1. Dead souls who are
sleeping in their graves in hell. (These souls remain in sleeping until the judgment
day as they were not wicked enough to be awaken and to be tormented.)
2. Saints who came
alive after the law was given to Moses.
3. The wicked who came
alive after the law was given to Moses.
In hell, there created two separate places for the saints and the wicked who were awaken
from their death. In order to understand these two locations, let's refer to
the story of Lazarus and the rich man.
Luke 16:22-29
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
Some Christian denominations believe that the above story is another parable of Jesus Christ. They believe so as they have no revelation of the real pattern of SHEOL. I would tell you one thing to deny the BELIEF that the above story is a parable. Yes, Jesus has never used real names for any characters in His parables. However, we see the real name of the beggar in the above story, in Luke 16:20.

Abraham's bosom
denotes 'Comforting Zone' of saints in sheol or hell. This comforting
zone of saints is also referred to as 'PARADISE'.
There is also a
separate place for the wicked, who are awaken. This place is a place of
tormenting and hence can be called 'Tormenting Zone'.
Thus, Comforting Zone
or PARADISE of saints and Tormenting Zone of the wicked are separated by a great gulf so that no soul could cross the border.
Thus, when somebody
lives a holy life, at their death, they would be taken to Comforting Zone or
'PARADISE' in hell. They see angels coming near them when their physical bodies
are dying. These people never come to the state of sleep in graves in hell.
Speaking to these saints, Jesus said the below verse:
Matthew 16:28
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
On the contrary, If somebody lives a very wicked life, at their death, they shall be taken to Tormenting Zone in hell. These people shall see devils coming at them when their physical bodies are dying. The reason why they see devils is that Tormenting Place has been given to Satan and his angels. As such, devils appear before dying wicked persons in order to take their souls to Tormenting Place in hell.

Even these wicked
people never experience a state of sleep in graves as they are taken alive to
hell to be tormented. The below scripture reveals certain wicked people, who
raised against Moses, went down to sheol or hell alive.
Numbers 16:33
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit (sheol), and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
