The Dead - Part 5
After Moses, in the Scripture, we see in many occasions, how saints came up to the face of the earth from their Comforting Zone or PARADISE in hell. For instance, we see how Samuel came to the face of the earth from the Comforting Zone in hell. I have quoted below only the important scriptures to prove that Samuel came up from the hell after his death.
1 Samuel 28:3
3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city.

11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. (The verb 'bring up' reveals that Samuel is in hell in the heart of the earth)

Again, we see Moses and
Elijah coming to the face of the earth and appearing before Jesus.
Mark 9:2-4
2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. 3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. 4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

Thus, after Moses, up
to the death of Christ, Comforting Zone of saints, so called 'PARADISE' was in hell (sheol).

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

We all know that Jesus
directly went down to sheol or hell in the heart of the earth soon after His
death on the cross. Truly, Jesus promised the thief on His right, on the cross,
that He would take him to Comforting Zone in hell where He would be heading to
soon after His death on the cross.
This promise of Christ to the thief on the right, reveals the fact that Jesus was in Comforting Zone or PARADISE in hell for three days and three nights. King David, filling with the Holy Spirit prophecied in Psalms 16:10 that Jesus Christ (Holy One) would not go to a state of sleep in a grave in hell.

The Hebrew word for
'corruption' in the above verse is SHACHATH,
which means GRAVE in hell wherein a dead soul is in the state of
sleeping. King David also prophesied in the first part of the above verse that PARADISE in hell where his soul would dwell would not
continue to be in hell after Christ was raised from dead.
