Do you confess Jesus Christ before people in common places?

Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven

There are many religions under the sun and every person inherits one of them through their own parents. People say every religion is good since no religion tells them to do anything bad. They all have their own religions as they have their other things in common, such as their Name, Address, Date of Birth, Passport, Identity Card and so on.

No body wants to talk about their Name as a big deal as everybody has a name. No body wants to talk about their date of birth as a big deal as everybody has one. In the same way, no body wants to talk about their religion as a big deal as everybody has one.

Christianity is also a mere religion for many Christians. They do not want to mix it with their lives when they move with other people in the society, who have their own religions as explained above. These Christians never talk about God or their saviour Jesus Christ in common places as they do not want to be abnormal or exceptional before others.

However, in the above scripture, our Lord, Jesus Christ reveals the necessity of confessing (talking with our mouth) about Him before men. The next verse just after the above opening verse (Matthew 10:33) clearly tells us that the act of confessing or talking about Jesus Christ before other people, even though they have their own religions, is a must and not anything optional.

Matthew 10:33
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven

Many Christians do not talk about Jesus before other people as they know that the moment they do this, those people easily find fault with them (Christians) and as a result the peace (worldly peace) between them and these Christians would be damaged.
Jesus also knows very well about this happening. That is why He says right in the next verse (Matthew 10:34), ' Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.'

These Christians should not forget that the worldly peace that they maintain with ungodly people in the society by not confessing 'Jesus is the Christ,' is not the peace Jesus brought to this world.
Jesus is not the prince of worldly peace but the prince of eternal peace which the world cannot give us as Jesus says in John 14:27.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.

Dear friends, no religious leader under the sun, who has introduced various teachings to this world has sacrificed his own life for his own people. But our Lord Jesus Christ is the only One, who surrendered His own life to a brutal death on a cross in order that you and I have eternal life.

Therefore we should not be shy to talk about our Savior before the world. Let's open our mouth and do it openly today so that our Jesus would talk about you and me before His Father, as He has promised in the opening scripture.
