Do you feel lonely?‏

Gen 2:18
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

There is a big difference between being lonely and being alone.

You feel alone when you do not have the help you need to do a task or job. You feel lonely when you do not receive the love that you look for or when you are in need of love.

Well, according to the above scripture, Adam, being the first man on the earth was not lonely even before Eve was made for him. Eve was made for Adam not because he was lonely, but because he was alone (without help) to do the job entrusted to him by God, in the garden of Eden. The below scripture shows the job given to Adam by God before Eve was made.

Gen 2:15
And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
What does this reveal? Yes, God filled Adam with His love so that Adam did not feel lonely even when he found himself as the only single man on the earth.

Today, what is our situation?  Most of the time, we feel lonely (even if we are with many people), because we have forsaken God's love and gone astray in looking for the love of the world for our loneliness.

Let's go in search of the love of God so that we would not feel lonely even if we lose everything around us as God would fill us with His love for ever as God filled Adam when Adam was the single man in the whole world.
