The end is more important than the beginning

2 Timmothy 4:7
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

The above scripture reveals how St. Paul has finished his journey gloriously and victoriously in this world with the Lord.

Our end is more important for the Lord than our beginning because the beginning of all of us are glorious and victorious, but the end is not always. When we read the Bible, especially the Old Testament, we see many people have started their walk with God in triumph but their end is miserable.

Being the people in the New Testament, how can we make sure that we are going to end our spiritual journey before the Lord like St. Paul?

Even now if we are facing frequent falls in our daily walk with the Lord, what is the assurance we have to say that our end is going to be victorious?

Well, it is very important that every one of us maintains a stable revival in our spiritual life every single day that we spend before the Lord. Praise the Lord! this is something possible for us, being the people in the New Testament, not through any of our righteous deeds, but through the Holy Spirit that our Lord Jesus has sent to us after He went to the Father.

But unfortunately, many Christians still stumble in their walk with God for their ignorance of the presence of the Holy Spirit which is in them and with them as promised in John 14:17.

Today, we are not able to overcome many things as we have not submitted them to the Holy Spirit. It is not possible to lead a victorious life continually without the power of the Holy Spirit. If it had been so, Jesus would not have sent the Holy Spirit to this world.

So, let's understand the true presence of the Holy Spirit, that is in us and with us. Let's start to communicate with the Holy Spirit asking His power to do what we cannot do ourselves. Even a life of holiness is assured through the power of the Holy Spirit. We will be able to continue all our good deeds without ceasing, in the same manner every single day if we commit the jobs to the Holy Spirit.

Remember, communication is a must with the Holy Spirit all the time as it is only our continuous communication that strengthens our fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Today through the Holy Spirit I can do what I could not do in the past. Today I am who I am because of the Holy Spirit. This is true... I am sharing my own experience, not by quoting from any books or from hearing anybody.
