Extraordinary revelation knowledge with a purpose

(Eph 3:3-6)
How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

People can understand any subject matter under the sun, by using their head knowledge, but not the Word of God.

Someone can refer to thousands of history books and do thousands of researches about the Word of God. But still if the Holy Spirit does not open their understanding to the Scripture, they miss the mysteries hidden in them.

According to St. Paul, God is giving  great revelations to the people in the New Testament about His Word and Kingdom, as He has never given to any generations before. But God does this with a purpose. If we do not understand this purpose, our struggle would be in vain.

Ephesians 3:3-6 reveals this purpose. Yes, God gives us revelations about the mystery of His Word and Kingdom, if we use the same revelations for making the Gentiles fellow-heirs in Christ and Partakers in His promise, through the Gospel.

Hence, those who do not fulfill this purpose, but still try to master the Word of God with their head knowledge are badly mistaken about many things in the Word of God.
