The Flow of The Power of Healing - Part 1

The power of healing can be compared with the power of electric current. As the electric current needs a conductor (substance through which current can flow through) to flow through from one place to another, even the power of healing needs the substance called 'FAITH' to flow through from one place to another.

(Heb 11:1)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

If you have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, you inherit this power of healing in your own spirit. However, this power is just like the current or electricity stored in a power station. Initially, the power of healing is stored in your own spirit as soon as you receive the Holy Spirit. If you are to use the current for your benefit, you need proper cables (conductors) to take the current out of the power station, wherein the current is stored. In the same way, if you physical body wants to be benefited (healed) by the power of healing stored in your spirit, you have to have 'FAITH' for the power of healing to flow through your physical body from the spirit wherein it stored. 

In the first place, your own body can be benefited by the power of healing in your spirit through your own faith. This is just like a power station making use of the power of electricity which is produced by itself. However, Jesus promised that when we receive the Holy Spirit, we shall receive enough power to release even to others who are sick in order that they also become healed.
(Act 1:8)
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

But, those who have not used the power in them for their own healing cannot release the same power of healing to others. The power of healing is always flowing through faith. By your own faith, you can release the power of healing in your spirit to your body and then to other people. In other words, if you do not have faith for your own healing, you cannot release the power in your spirit to the sick in the outside world.

In Act 1:8, Jesus says that we receive power to be witnesses of Jesus Christ unto the whole world. If we are witnesses of Jesus Christ, we have to preach what Jesus preached. If we are to preach what Jesus preached, we have to preach that God heals the sick. If we ourselves are sick, we are not true witnesses of Jesus Christ. That is why Jesus gave the power to demonstrate or manifest what we preach through our own lives. In other words, the Lord should confirm what we preach to others for others to receive our message.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Can your own faith act as the only medium for the power of healing in your spirit to flow to the sick in the outside world???
