(Matthew 8:1-3)
When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
The leper in the above story too manifests Active Faith by uttering Words of Faith. He never questioned about the ability of Jesus Christ for his healing. He knew in faith (Active Faith) that Jesus Christ could heal him. He questioned Jesus Christ only whether Jesus wished to heal him.
However, if you repeat the same statement of this leper today, for your healing, you will not be healed because half of this statement violates the law of healing.
Then, how the leper could manifest Active Faith by his statement at that time so that he was immediately healed?
Well, the below prophecy of Isaiah had not been fulfilled even by the time this leper released his statement.
(Isaiah 53:5)
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Today, we should not question Jesus Christ about His willingness to heal us because of the fulfillment of the above prophecy of Isaiah. The Apostle Peter confirms in 1 Peter 2:24 that the prophecy of Isaiah has already come to pass after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(1Peter 2:24)
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Hence, it is necessary to proclaim that you are already healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ. If you feel sick or just about to get symptoms of a sickness, you should speak to symptoms of your sickness or to the sickness itself that you refuse to be sick in the name of Jesus Christ. Here, you should not speak to Jesus Christ about your sickness. Instead, you should speak to the sickness about what Jesus Christ has done for you to remain in healing. This kind of faith is regarded as Active Faith through which the power of healing in your spirit would begin to flow to your physical body killing all the elements of the sickness.
I know, many Christians do not like to speak to their sickness as the sickness is not a person with ears to hear their wordings. Hence, they think of it as something silly. But look at the below scripture:
(Matthew 21:19)
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
You can see in the above verse how Jesus spoke to a dumb tree. Truly, the fig tree did not hear what Jesus said. But the Power in the Spiritual World got active and established what was proclaimed by the mouth of Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 21:20-21)
And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Mountains represent our problems in life. Speaking to mountains mean speaking to our problems. Let your mountain be your sickness or any other issue, but the moment you face it, you should speak to it for the spiritual power to get active and perform what you speak. Jesus says in Luke 11:23 that what you speak is what you receive.
(Mark 11:23)
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Speaking to problems was a method God wanted even the people in the Old Testament to use, in order for God to release the power from heaven to accomplish a miracle. Look at the below scripture:
(Numbers 20:8)
Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
It is necessary to speak to the devil as well when you speak to your sickness. Why? because 99.99% of our sicknesses are the work of the devil. When you speak to the devil, you make sure that you continue in healing even without getting a symptom of a sickness. (Dear friends, believe my words as I am speaking through my own experience).
Remember, Satan is the greatest deceiver under the sun. He always tries to deceive us telling different stories in order to hinder the power of healing in our spirit. Here are some of the stories of the devil - the deceiver:
* Healing was valid only for the people in the first century.
* God has placed doctors so that that we do not need to fight for healing spiritually
* God punishes us through sicknesses and therefore it is God's will that we suffer from sicknesses
* Almost every Christian falls sick and suffers, so there is no exception for you
* Many prayers for healing have been a mere flop and therefore miraculous healing is not a valid teaching today
* Prayer for healing does not work for everybody and therefore, it is mere a chance that you receive healing from God
The devil brings all of the above lies and many more to you and me today by using different people whom we trust most. For example, the devil is speaking these lies to us through some pastors, teachers and believers. The devil uses even unbelievers (unsaved people) to utter these lies to certain Christians whose knowledge about the Word of God is NIL. Some denominations have even created wrong doctrines to match their experiences received by them just because they believed utter lies of the enemy.
Remember, God never afflicts you with sickness as a way of punishing you for your sins. If God did so, God would violate what He brought to us through Jesus Christ. It is true that when we continue in sin, sickness attacks us. But it is not God who does this, but the devil. By our sin, we empower the devil to afflict us with sicknesses.
However, our sin is not the only thing we do to empower the devil to destroy us with sickness. Even our ignorance of our rights may empower devil to afflict us with sicknesses. For example, if you believe the above lies of the devil, the devil becomes empowered by your deception. That is why God says in Hosea 4:6 that His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Truly the devil has no power to afflict us with sicknesses, other than the power we ourselves give him.
WHEN THE SICK PERSON IS NOT IN A POSITION TO MANIFEST ACTIVE FAITH, HOW TO MAKE THE HEALING A REALITY???
