I am a rock in God through The Holy Spirit

Psa 62:2
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

The above scripture shows the wonderful experience of King David, who lived in the Old Testament. He says he is not moved because God is his rock. What does this mean?

Well, a rock is taken as an example to show something, which is firmly established or something, which cannot be moved or changed. Truly God is a ROCK as He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Hebrew 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

However, our experience, being the people in the New Testament should be quite different. Yes, we, who are under the blood covenant with our Lord Jesus Christ, are rocks in God through the Holy Spirit.

Let me explain this new experience of the people in the New Testament...

We are given the Holy Spirit as a Counselor and a Comforter by Chris, our Lord, from His Father, our God.

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Not only that. Our Comforter and Counselor dwells with us and in us.

John 14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
When you read the above scriptures you can understand the difference I am talking about here, which is between King David who was in the Old Testament and us, who are in the New Testament. We are truly rocks in God through the Holy Spirit. What does this mean?

Yes, we never change before God because of the Holy Spirit in us. We are the same yesterday, today and forever. My dear friends, look at the below scripture, which clearly explains this wonderful experience of New Testament saints, from the mouth of St. Paul, the great man of God.
Roman 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are a people, who never go by sight, but by faith. Our fellowship with God does not depend on any material blessings under the sun. However, when we grow in this love, we become like rocks in God through the Holy Spirit and we can't help blessings following us. Yes, we never go behind blessings, but blessings come behind us.
