Is the healing, Jesus Christ has brought to us by His stripes, a reality today?‏

1 Peter 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Peter 2:24 confirms that we have already been healed by the wounds that Jesus bore on His body. In other words, there is no need to plead to God for the healing of our sicknesses anymore as Jesus has done what is needed to bring healing to our mortal bodies.

Nevertheless, this healing is not a reality in lives of many of us today. There are so many prayers going up to heaven day and night from the children of God begging for the healing for various diseases.

What really hinders us from enjoying the healing Jesus has brought to us through His stripes on His body???
Being the children who have been redeemed unto God by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we have the healing as an inheritance in our mortal bodies against all kinds of sicknesses in the world.

But we need something called 'FAITH' to activate this healing in order to make it a reality for our lives. The root of almost every disease that we suffer from, originates from the devil. It is our own responsibility to use the authority Jesus Christ has given us over all powers of darkness and principalities in heavenly places to fight against these roots of diseases and preserve our healing.

St. Paul calls this fight 'THE FIGHT OF FAITH'. According to St. Paul, we have a battle to fight all the time in order to preserve our inheritance that Jesus Christ has given to us through His sufferings, death and resurrection.
1 Timothy 6:12
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Words of unbelief, negative thoughts in mind and negative talks in mouth, expectation of evil well in advance all contribute to jeopardize the healing that Christ has deposited in our bodies.

When we continually release RHEMA (Word of God spoken from mouth) to the spiritual world proclaiming our right to have the healing by the wounds of Jesus Christ, we begin to experience the supernatural divine health in our mortal bodies. This RHEMA should be released not only when we feel symptoms of diseases, but even when we enjoy the divine health all the time.

Let's refuse to be sick anymore. Let's not entertain any negative thought or talk that favours the devil in bringing sicknesses to our bodies. Let's fight the good fight of faith in order to make the healing Jesus has given to us, a reality for our lives.
