The Last Will of Jesus Christ
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
It is high time for all of us to understand the great commission in the New Testament. Before Jesus was crucified, He has talked to his disciples about many things that we should do during our stay in this earth in order to enter the kingdom of God. Praise the Lord! many of us are already doing all these.
However, the last will of Christ was clearly revealed only after His resurrection from death. During the period of 40 days, during which Christ moved with his disciples after resurrection, He has revealed His last will to his disciples as preaching the gospel to nations that do not know the Lord (so called the Gentiles).
In all four books of gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John), we can clearly see the last will of Jesus Christ as preaching the gospel to nations and bringing many to salvation. I personally believe this is the core of the New Testament.
With all of our good work towards the Lord, do we do the last will of Christ, which is the most important above all???
