Matthew Chapter 24 - Part 7

This sign in the sun and in the moon marks another incident. It is THE WRATH OF GOD (THE WRATH OF THE LAMB / GREAT DAY OF WRATH /THE GREAT DAY OF THE LORD).

Truly, when the last trumpet (7th Trumpet) blows, RAPTURE takes place. Then the wrath of God is poured to the earth by seven vials of wrath. You can read these seven vials one after the other after the RAPTURE takes place. (Refer Rev 16:1-18 for details of seven vials)

This is the final distress (3rd WOE or the last WOE) to the world before the millennium reign begins. Hence, the same sign (the sun becoming dark and moon becoming dark or seems blood) has been used in the Bible to show RAPTURE and also the beginning of THE WRATH OF GOD.

Under the sixth seal, this sign is used to show only THE WRATH OF THE LAMB or THE WRATH OF GOD. Nevertheless, this sign takes place at the seventh trumpet sound explained under the seventh seal.
(Rev 6:12-17)
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Even Prophet Isaiah is using the sign in the sun and the moon to show the great day of the Lord or the day of wrath.

(Isa 13:9-10)

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Now let me tell you something. Even the Book of Revelation talks about the great Army of God and the revived church. But, many have missed the point. Why? Let's first look at the scriptures.

Revelation Chapter 10 talks about two witnesses who are preaching the Gospel to all nations after the sound of the 6th trumpet or after the beginning of the 2nd WOE.
(Rev 11:3-6)
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Why are these two witnesses called 'the olive trees' and 'the two candlesticks???
