1. Teaching the Word of God and Preaching the Gospel in all Hospitals
2. All patients believe and receive faith
You know, when we teach the Word of God and preach the Gospel, the power of healing is present to heal those hearing. Look at the below scripture:
(Luke 5:17)
And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
But unfortunately, today, healing is not possible due to various hindrances. Here are some of them:
1. Today, the majority of Christian Ministers are not willing to teach the Word of God and preach the Gospel to those unsaved people who are sick. Majority of the preachers prefer to confine their teaching and preaching to their church buildings. You know why? I believe it is because they don't like to go out.
If the Son of God went from village to village reaching the people for teaching and preaching and then healing, how come we do this job within walls??? If you could do it within walls, Jesus would not have told His disciples the following words just before He was ascended to Heaven.
(Mark 16:15-16)
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
It is very clear by the above scriptures that for people to believe, we must go to them and preach. Jesus set an example by doing the same thing before telling us. Jesus never asked us to pray for the unsaved. Instead, Jesus asked us to pray for workers (labourers) who would go and reach the unsaved with the Word of God.
(Matthew 9:37-38)
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
I have heard people saying that they have been praying for the salvation of their loved ones for years (sometimes, 20 or 30 years), but nothing has happened. You know why? because it is not possible to get God save people though our begging type of prayers making in our prayer closets if we are not willing to reach them and speak the Word to them. Of course, God has all the power to do that, but still God would not do it because that is exactly what God has told us to do. When we preach the Word of God, God would begin to touch the people and cause them to believe what we preach. But the whole process is not done by God. So, when you merely pray for the salvation of someone, nothing happens because God respects His own Word and would not violate it at the cost of the unsaved going to hell. But, I believe we would be kept responsible for every soul that would end up in hell if we do not do our part for God to do His part.
2. Some Christians go about visiting patients in hospitals, but their approach to bring healing is not scriptural or based on the Scripture. For example, they beg God for healing the sick in font of the sick and ask the patients too do the same thing instead of using the power of healing already present with them by commanding healing and rebuking the devil and the sickness in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
You know, Jesus never prayed for the sick and neither asked His disciples to pray for the sick. No disciples ever prayed for the sick. Why? because you should pray for something which you do not have. But healing is already given by His stripes. All we need to do is to teach people to receive it through faith.
3. Many people who are sick are not ready to believe even if we teach and preach the truth because they are spiritually blind by their traditions and false teachings of their religions.
You know I once tried to heal a person, who had a cancer just because he told me that he was believing that God would heal him. But, for many months, I was struggling with this man, but no improvement could be seen. To tell you frankly, even I didn't have proper understanding of how the power of healing is working during this period. So, I was commanding healing in the Name of Jesus every time I visited him in the Cancer Hospital and even at his home when he was about to die. But when He was dying, God revealed me that he was using sorcery (Kattadiyan) all the time while I was trying to heal him by the power of God. On the other hand, all of his children including his wife were fully against what I was doing because of their beliefs in their own religions. Now it is obvious why he had to die in the midst of my prayers. (The mistake I made was I never I asked the Lord to reveal me why the healing was hindered in his life. If I had prayed in that manner, the Lord would have revealed the facts at the very early stage.)
4. There are some segments of ministers, who try to reverse the order from "teaching/preaching to healing" into "healing to preaching/preaching". This order sounds pretty good. But unfortunately, the law of healing is not working in this reverse order.
However, they always try to heal the people and try to prove them that God is there. This approach is absoultely wrong. If you want to heal somebody, you first have to teach and preach to that person so that they would believe. Only if they start to believe, we can minister to them for healing. We must not forget that miracles are confirmation of what you teach and preach and not that teaching and preaching are confirmation of miracles.
Early days, I too tried to heal the sick by praying and then prove them that God is there. But I failed all the time. Many of these sick people too come out with this order. They too say, if they would be healed, they would believe. No way! The order is "If you believe, you will be healed". Jesus always asked the question, "Do you believe?" before He healed the sick.
You know why God put the law of healing in the order from "Believing to Healing"??? It is because God does not want to prove His existence by healing people. God is God. Whether you believe or not, He is God. God wants you to believe in Him through faith. God honors FAITH and God is moved by FAITH. Healing is your requirement and God's perfect will and not that God's requirement and your perfect will.
