Who gave 'WOMAN' as the WIFE to MALE ADAM in the garden of EDEN?
We noticed that neither God nor Adam used the name 'WIFE' to refer to WOMAN in the beginning (before Adam was condemned to have sinned against God).
In the Bible, for the first time, it is God, who introduced WOMAN as the WIFE to ADAM.
Genesis 3:17
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it:...
The reason for God to introduce WOMAN as the WIFE to ADAM is found in the above verse itself. Yes, it is because Adam listened to WOMAN and disobeyed God.
When the animals in the garden of Eden failed to provide HELP required for Adam to dress and keep the garden, God formed WOMAN in the form of FEMALE ADAM. Physically WOMAN and FEMALE ADAM appear in the same manner except for the fact that the physical body of WOMAN came out of the flesh of Adam.
Hence WOMAN had the same ability to function as FEMALE ADAM by providing the same help FEMALE ADAM could provide. However God did not expect WOMAN to play the role of WIFE for Adam as it could disrupt the original plan.
According to the original plan, MALE ADAM and FEMALE ADAM bear the same dignity. In other words, MALE ADAM is not superior to FEMALE ADAM in nature, as FEMALE ADAM has not come out of MALE ADAM.
However, as Adam disobeyed God by listening to WOMAN, God made her 'WIFE' for Adam. But since WOMAN came out of Adam, she was said to be submissive to Adam as HUSBAND and she was said to be ruled over by her husband all the days of her life.
Genesis 3:16
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Only after God appointed WOMAN as the wife of Adam, they had their sexual relationship for the first time. Look at the below verse:
Genesis 4:1
And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Adam was drawn away by his wife in love more than by anyone else as his wife was his own flesh. As a result, their male children were also made to be drawn away by their wives leaving the parents.
Where was the first FEMALE ADAM created by God on the 6th day of Creation?
Why did God not keep FEMALE ADAM with MALE ADAM in the garden of Eden?
