There is a time for everything

In the journey of the Children of Israel through the wilderness, from Egypt to the promised land of Canaan, God continually spoke to them. God has never been communicating with any other nation on earth so frequently and so clearly like He has done with the Children of Israel when God was bringing them out of Egypt to Canaan.

If we look carefully how God talked to the Children of Israel as a Congregation, we understand that God visited them in early mornings when they were entering a new day. Every time God wanted to talk to the Children of Israel as a Congregation, God let Moses know about it asking him to prepare the people to visit the Lord in the morning of a new day. For example, let's consider God's visitation with the Children of Israel on mount Sinai.
Exodus 19:10-11
10 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, 11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

Exodus 19:15-1716 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. 17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God;
Yes, for everything there is a time...

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace
.

For instance, if someone wants to approach his or her boss in order to request for a day off, he might wait until a suitable moment comes for his visitation with his boss for the request. Why??? It is because the mood of a boss would have a great impact on the responses he would give to his people under his authority, whenever they approach him in seeking his favour for different requests.

What is the reason for God to always choose morning hours for His visitation with His people???

Yes, the Word of God says that we are not consumed by God's mercies and these mercies of the Lord are new every morning.
Lamentations 3:21-23
22 It is of the Lord'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

When God visited the Children of Israel in morning hours, God could bear their inequities and sins if they had committed any, to the greatest extent. whenever God  visited them in morning hours.

What does this mean to us today?

Coming to the presence of God early in the morning is a good idea in order to receive great blessings from the Lord for the day. When we seek the Lord in early hours before stepping into the day, we show God that our highest priority is only God.

Therefore, we should not enter into a new day without going to the presence of God in search of His new mercies for the day.

Remember that those who visit the Lord early in the morning receive new mercies from the Lord. When these mercies are new, the greatest are the blessings that follow them.
