Psalms 91:11-12
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
There
are wonderful promises in the Word of God covering us against every
single evil scheme of the devil that he can devise to destroy our lives
by ruining the divine plan of God concerning each of us.
However, these promises themselves cannot protect us as long as we are ignorant of them.
There are three conditions that need to be fulfilled in order for a promise of God to become active in our lives.
1. We should know the promise as LOGOS (knowledge of the Word of God written in the Bible)
2. We should believe the promise (FAITH)
3. We should proclaim the promise as RHEMA (confessing the Word of God-LOGOS with our mouth)
When
we fulfill the above three conditions, any promise in the Bible could
be made real in our life. This is awesome... It is working.
The
promise in the opening scripture is wonderful. Satan is highly worried
about this promise of God concerning His children. The below scripture
reveals how much Satan is disturbed because of the above promise of God.
Matthew 4:5-6
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And
saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is
written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Satan himself could not cast Jesus from the pinnacle of the temple not only because of a promise in the Word of God, but also Jesus had known about it.
Even
today, this promise is a great stumbling block for Satan to harm us
provided we fulfill the above three conditions concerning this promise.
We never encounter any kind of road accidents or even falls at home or
in office if we proclaim this promise every morning in our prayers.
Some
time back, my wife had several falls while walking inside the house
continually for a number of days. When I asked her whether she had
proclaimed the promise in Psalms 91:11-12 in her morning prayers, she said she was not aware of it.
Praise the Lord!, since the day she started to confess this promise in
her morning prayers, she has never had a single fall anywhere.
Let's
come to know the great promises of God in the Bible concerning us and
proclaim them with our mouth day and night so that all of them would
become realities for our lives.
Remember to quote the Bible References as well when you proclaim them so that the full power in such promises would be released as a spiritual ring around us through which no devil can touch us.
