Why did God want to separate this Adam who was in a physical body with a different purpose in a garden from the rest of the people (ADAMS) over the earth?
Today, let's look at the answer to the above question...When God created angels, God created them in perfection. They were made to live eternally. In other words, angels would not face death because of their perfect nature. However, angels were given the understanding of good and evil or their understanding was open to good and evil so that they could be punished at the moment they sinned against God.
Thus, angels had the option to remain in obedience to God or to sin against God as they had the understanding of both good and evil. However, when the most beautiful angle (Lucifer) chose the option to sin against God along with another host of angels, God did not have a salvation path for them as they were in perfection.
We read in Genesis 3:7 that the eyes of Adam and Eve were open when they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What do you mean by 'OPENING OF EYES'?
Yes, 'OPENING OF EYES' means 'OPENING OF UNDERSTANDING'. Look at the following verse:
Luke 24:45
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
The above scripture reveals that God Almighty has the power to open the understanding of MAN to any complicated matter which MAN could not understand.
In the same manner, it reveals that God has the power to close the understanding of MAN to any simple matter which MAN could understand..
Matthew 11:25
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
When God created MAN being His second creation, God made MAN a little lower than angels and with a path of salvation which God would bring for MAN if MAN sinned against God.
Hebrews 2:6-7
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Nevertheless, God wanted MAN to remain in eternity without sinning against God. Therefore, God closed MAN's understanding of good and evil when God created him. What does this mean?
When MAN's understanding of good and evil were closed, MAN could not sin by nature. In other words, MAN was made not to sin against God. For example, MAN would not kill not because he knew that killing was evil (or sin), but because he was made not to kill. Under this arrangement, MAN would never sin against God.
However God could not fully cover MAN from sin in this manner because of Satan. If God had done so, Satan would have accused God saying that MAN would not sin because he was made not to sin.
Accusing is the nature of Satan. We read in the Book of Job how Satan accused an innocent man called Job, before God. Satan is described as the accuser in the Book of Revelation.
Revelation 12:10
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Hence God gave a single commandment for MAN to obey. God gave MAN 'FREE WILL' to obey this single commandment without any divine influence of God. As long as MAN would obey God by keeping this single commandment, God would protect MAN from every kind of other sins by keeping his eyes of understanding closed to good and evil.
As God loved MAN so much and wanted MAN to remain in eternity, God wanted to make even this single commandment so simple and easy to be obeyed. That was why God selected the fruits of a single tree. Yes, the commandment was to remain without eating the fruits from this single tree. God created many trees covering all over the face of the earth, from which MAN could eat. But MAN was commanded not eat the fruits of a single tree.
Wow! What a simple and easy commandment to be obeyed!
Well, although this commandment was so simple to be obeyed, still God did not want to expose this single tree to all MANKIND in order to bring the risk for MAN to lose eternal life to zero level. That is why God did not want this single tree to be among the rest of the trees God created on the 5th day of Creation. Yes, for this reason, God did not want to create the tree of knowledge of good and evil with the other trees and plants which God created on the 5th day of Creation.
God thought of a secured area wherein this tree of knowledge of good and evil would be planted. That is why God wanted to plant a separate garden on earth.
Genesis 2:8
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden...
Yes, God planted a brand new garden with the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the center of it. In addition, God planted brand new other trees (apart from the trees and plants created on the 5th day of Creation) in the garden from all of which fruits could be eaten. Further, God planted another tree by the side of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and named it 'the tree of life'. God planted the tree of life just next to the tree of knowledge of good and evil to remind the death which the tree of knowledge of good and evil would bring to MANKIND.
Genesis 2:9
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
God formed a brand new MALE ADAM (apart from MALE ADAM and FEMALE ADAM created on the 6th Day of Creation) to be kept before the tree of knowledge of good and evil, who thus could represent all MANKIND over the face of the earth before the prohibited tree. God did not want to form a FEMALE ADAM and keep along with this MALE ADAM in the garden as God wanted to minimize the risk of eating from the prohibited tree. (If FEMALE ADAM had been kept in, even her eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil would bring about DEATH to all MANKIND).
But God did not stop here. Still God wanted to provide a path of salvation for MANKIND in case this single MALE ADAM would break this single commandment of God. Yes, God made a covenant with His begotten Son, Jesus Christ that Jesus Christ should go to the world and redeem MAN by offering Himself as a living sacrifice and thus bring MAN back to eternal life. Well Done! Everything is perfect.
But we all know what happened at last. The single MALE ADAM ate from the wrong tree and subsequently his understanding (eyes of understanding) was open to good and evil which God had closed subject to the obedience of a single commandment.
On the day he ate the prohibited fruits, not only the eyes of EVE were open to good and evil, but also the eyes of ALL MANKIND all over the face of the earth (outside the garden of Eden).
Now we understand how ALL MANKIND lost eternal life through the sin of one single Man in the garden of Eden and received it back through the living sacrifice of One and Only Begotten Son of God in Heaven.
Well, after having all the arrangements for MAN to remain in eternity, why did God allow Satan to enter into the garden of Eden?
